When my ideas were submitted for review by the design team, some game mechanics and level shapes were taken in and others were put aside. On our weekly team meetings via voice call, my next major task was set; to create a simple design diagram of how the re-shaper worked. I for this at first asked my fellow classmates who were in the tech and art team for pictures of the level at the time and the objects they had been making.

This was my first major task set by my lead on the design team, I had to create a clear diagram of how the re-shaper worked. The re-shaper was a machine that the players would feed in the items they had collected in the level and wait for the machine to spit out a sculpture that would then be moved to a de-spawn machine to complete the task/order the players had been set.

This picture is the same diagram but with more references to in-game attributes and game mechanic notes. I had lists of the item which made up the orders in their own recipes. When the items were placed into the machine, a counter would show the progress of the sculpture being made. The item would be churned up inside and re-constructed into a new object. The light on the green "3" would glow and a conveyor belt would push the finished product out for the players to move it. There is a guide also of how this game mechanical items would insert itself in the gameplay as well as a picture of what the re-shaper might look like in-game.

Gameplay loop

Re-shaper machine step by step process

Lastly, I wrote up the gameplay loop that is the game's whole step by step process of how to beat the game and fulfil the specific order given the the players. I then out of nervousness made an even simpler diagram with less text, less clutter and more realistic pictures for what the gameplay loop looks like. I even used the player model.
